Another Earth was a great movie borrowing elements from various films to create a uniquely enjoyable viewing experience.

Another Earth is a sci-fi psychodrama about the discovery of another planet in close proximity to Earth. This planet is an exact duplicate of Earth, along with its population. Everyone that exists on our Earth also exists on, as it’s called in the film, Earth 2.

More than about the planets, the film seemed a character study of the protagonist, a 21-year-old woman, Rhoda, being released from prison after killing two people while driving drunk on the night of the discovery of Earth 2. The film chronicles Rhoda’s struggle to live with the guilt of what she’s done, and her attempts to rectify her mistake.

Another Earth was extremely enjoyable and I strongly recommend it.
