Cowboys & Aliens was very entertaining but not much more. It falls into the category of generic Hollywood action film. This does not in any way mean that it is a bad film though.

It has several major plot holes that just can’t be ignored though. The story was predictable. The acting was average at best.

The action sequences were good enough that I am willing to let all of that slide though.

Ultimately, it was a good action film. I rate it a 6 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone who likes action movies.
