Today Ace Combat Assault Horizon was announced. I have to say, it looks pretty cool to me, though I've been a fan of Ace Combat since its beginning, so I may be a little bias.

I do want to call attention to one, what I consider to be, mistake in the game that I observed in the trailer. The bulk of the plains seen in the trailer are F-22s. The only country in the world with F-22s is America, however due to their high cost and upkeep, they have been discontinued and replaced by F-35s. There is currently no plan to ever recommission them. Ace Combat 5 and 6 both featured the F-22s but that was before the discontinuing of them so I'll give these games a free pass for this. I know this seems like a stupid thing to complain about, but I just find it irritating. The game still looks pretty cool though and I can't wait for it to come out. I only wish they kept to story arc from Ace Combat 5 going.
