Last night when I went to bed around 9:30, I heard several gunshots. They continued on and off for about half-an-hour. I thought it was a neighbor's TV so I ignored it and went to sleep. A few hours later, around 11:10, two police officers, one of whom was dressed in full swat gear, knocked at our door. Me and Pete got up to see what it was. They said a man had barricaded himself in his house and the swat team was preparing to enter the house. Our house happened to be the same layout as his so they wanted to come in and see our house so they would be better prepared to enter the other house. After that we all went back to bed. About an hour later, they came back asking for more information about our house. This time, they were more thorough. Again, we went back to bed. About an hour later, all seven armed swat guys knocked at our door, asking if they could look around the house and then run a quick drill. After they were done, we (Me, Pete, and Mom) went outside to see exactly what was going on. They had the whole block, blocked off with at least half-a-dozen police cars and a swat truck. We also noticed that power had been cut to the other half of the block.
