Venus on the Half-Shell - Review

September 18, 2008 1645

Venus on the Half-Shell is quite possibly the funniest book I've ever read. It is a Sci-Fi taking place (or at least ending) in the year 8,120,006 A.C. It follows one man, Simon, after an catastrophic event on Earth. After leaving Earth he tries to find the answer to his questions, such as Why were we created just to suffer and die? The book is also filled with crude humor that I personally thought to be hilarious.

Overall I give the novel a 9 out of 10. It had no serious flaw but just a kind of inter-ah.... depressing ending.

Unfortunately it is an out of print novel so if you want to read it you'll probably need to find an electronic copy.
